It's time consuming 😓We are working on a BETA version of our new delivery system specifically for you. RadioGuild RELAY is coming. It's a live relay stream that will play top of the hour news on the hour, every hour. The good news is that it works with Live365. So just like our Static Link service, all you need to is schedule it once and we'll maintain it after that. This also means that late breaking news will automatically air at the times you schedule!Using the Relay FeatureThe Relay feature in Live365 enables you to pull an external live stream into your station. This can be used to broadcast Radio Guild News' live news segments at scheduled times. When the Relay is active, it overrides the default AutoDJ or scheduled playlists during those time slots. After the live stream ends, the station automatically reverts to the regular music or playlist schedule.Scheduling EventsLive365's scheduling tools allow you to create strictly-timed events with specific start and end times. You can configure these events to use the Relay as their source, ensuring that Radio Guild live news stream plays exactly at the designated time (e.g., 12:00 PM to 12:03 PM). Once the event ends, the station will return to its AutoDJ or previously scheduled content.Recurring EventsFor convenience, you can set up recurring events for your live streams. This feature allows you to schedule Radio Guild news relay at the same time every day or week without needing to manually configure it each time. Any changes made to the source (e.g., updating your live stream URL) will automatically apply to all future instances of the recurring event. We're working hard in getting this implementedWe're working behind the scenes to get our live relay stream up and running to play exactly at top of hour.
