Dailycast News Service Returns!
Version 6 rebuilt from the ground up!
Two years ago we moved Dailycast News Service to Radio Guild Service while we completely rebuild an all-news radio news service. Coming this fall, Dailycast News Service returns! Version 6 promises a new way for broadcasters to offer news to their audience.

DATABASES CREATED FOR NEW DAILYCAST NEWS SERVICE. THIS INCLUDES A REBUILD OF THE LOCAL NEWS GENERATOR BUILT INTO THE NEW TEXT-TO-NEWS WINDOW SO NEWS CREATION IS DONE ALL ON ONE PAGE. WORKING ON NEW NEWS PLAN TO INCLUDE NEW BUILD-YOUR-OWN NEWSCASTS, RELAY NEWS, STATIC LINKS, LOCAL NEWS GENERATOR ALL IN ONE SUITE ON ONE SITE FOR EASY ACCESS WITHOUT JUMPING FROM SITE TO SITE.

CREATING INFORMATION AND TOOLS FOR CLIENTS TO DISCONTINUE THE CURRENT NEWS PLAN AND SIGN UP FRESH TO THE NEW SERVICE. NOTICES WILL BE SENT OUT ON SEPTEMBER 1ST ON INSTRUCTIONS AND REMINDERS HOW TO CREATE THEIR NEW NEWSCAST ACCOUNTS.

As we've been coding and building in the background, we recently conducted a survey for current and past clients of what they liked, didn't like and wanted in our news service.
HERE ARE SOME OF THE RESULTS:
90% of current clients are 'not using the Good News and Good News Weekend files.'
75% of current clients would like 'sports added to the service.'
45% of current clients would like 'weather added to the service.'
65% of current clients would like 'local news added to the service.'
80% of current clients would like 'some kind of weekend news offered.'
OTHER REQUESTS:
Add a top of hour, static link, or schedule relay for Live365 clients
Add more newscasts for the day
Add more updated newscasts throughout the day
include local and national news for different regions
